At Frontier Sapiens, we take your privacy very seriously. Our privacy policy explains what data we collect, how and why we use it, as well as information on how we store your data and keep it secure. What data do we collect and how do we collect it?
We currently collect personal data from you in four main ways; when you subscribe through our website (www.frontiersapiens.com) to our mailing list, when you fill out a competition slip at one of our events and opt in to subscribe, when you purchase tickets through our website, or when you opt in to subscribe when submitting a film via our FilmFreeway submission page.
Mailing list
Your data will be added to our mailing list, only after you have either subscribed through our website, or ticked the box to subscribe when filling out a competition slip at one of our events, submitting a film, or purchasing tickets. The information we collect includes your name, email address, town name and post code. We use this information to inform you about our events, news, and any event competitions we think you might be interested in.
We send you information via the third party provider Mailchimp and also use Mailchimp to gather statistics to help us improve the information we are sending you. You can unsubscribe from our mailing list by clicking the unsubscribe button at the bottom of any of our emails, or by emailing us at team(@)frontiersapiens.com.
Purchasing tickets
We use the ticket platform provider Eventbrite to sell tickets to some of our events. Eventbrite will collect the necessary details in order to fulfil your ticket order, such as name, email address, billing address and payment details. Do we share your data?
We will never sell or share your personal data without your express consent, or unless we are required to do so by law. If you tick the box on one of our event competition forms saying that you would like to hear from our tour partners, we will be able to share your data with them. Any tour partners with whom we may share your personal data will be listed in this privacy policy.
We have electronic procedures in place to ensure the safety of your personal data when both stored and shared with any tour partners.
Other websites
Our website does contain links to other websites. Please be aware that this privacy policy only applies to Frontier Sapiens and our own website. We do not have any control over the protection of information you provide to other third party sites. If you click through to another website, we encourage you to always view their privacy policy before choosing to provide any personal data.
