We've done our best to provide as much information as possible below, but if you can't see the answer that you're looking for, please feel free to send us an email and we'll get back to you as soon as we can.
WHAT ARE THE FILMS ABOUT?
Frontier Sapiens Film Festival is a celebration of human spirit and the untold stories of inspirational people from all walks of life. Films on show can be broad in nature, but will always be nonfiction stories featuring a human story element. Expect to see a diverse range of films about epic adventures, as well as important cultural, environmental and social issues from around the globe. Visit our 'films' page for further information.
WHAT HAPPENS AT A FRONTIER SAPIENS FILM FESTIVAL EVENT?
Expect to see between 6 and 10 films over the course of the evening, each introduced by our own in-house presenter. At the majority of our venues, the screenings are split in to two halves, allowing attendees to have a quick break and grab a drink in between films.
ARE THE SCREENINGS INDOORS OR OUTDOORS?
All of the 2021 Frontier Sapiens Film Festival events are outdoors. After what seems like an eternity in 'lockdown', what better way to spend an evening in summer 2021 than watching a series of inspirational films under the stars.
ARE THE EVENTS COVID SAFE?
Absolutely! All of our events will be in line with the current Government guidelines. We're currently working hard with all of our venues to ensure that our events are a safe and enjoyable experience.
WHAT HAPPENS IF THE EVENT IS POSTPONED OR CANCELLED DUE TO COVID?
In case of postponement, your tickets will be automatically transferred to the new date. However, if you are unable to attend the new date, you will be able to receive a 100% refund if you email us within 7 days of the new date being announced.
WHAT HAPPENS IN CASE OF BAD WEATHER?
All of our events are outdoors and will go ahead in the event of rain; so please check the weather forecast beforehand and dress accordingly! On very rare occasions where we are forced to postpone or cancel an event due to dangerous weather conditions, you will be refunded in full, if you are not able to attend the postponed event.
CAN I BRING MY OWN FOOD AND DRINK TO THE EVENT?
This varies across our venues, so please visit the individual ticket page for further information.
CAN I BRING MY DOG?
As much as we LOVE dogs, unfortunately only service dogs are allowed at the screenings.
CAN I SMOKE?
Smoking (and the use of e-cigarettes and vapes) is not allowed at any of our events. Some of our venues may have designated areas where smoking is allowed, but please visit the individual ticket page for details.
HOW DO I BUY TICKETS?
Head on over to our 'dates and tickets' page and select the 'buy tickets' tab next to the date and location of your choice.
WILL THE FRONTIER SAPIENS FILM FESTIVAL BE COMING TO MY HOME TOWN?
We're doing our very best to bring the Frontier Sapiens Film Festival to a range of exciting outdoor venues around the UK, but please bear with us, it's only our first year, so we know we may have missed a few! Please visit our 'dates and tickets' page for a full list of 2021 event locations. If you have an epic idea of where we could host a screening (either this year or next!), please send us an email, we'd love to hear about it!
ARE THERE ANY OPPORTUNITIES TO GET INVOLVED WITH THE FESTIVAL?
Yes! We're always on the lookout for volunteers to help out at screenings and help spread the word about our events. If you're interested in getting involved, please visit our 'join us' page.
CAN MY COMPANY OR BRAND PARTNER WITH THE FRONTIER SAPIENS FILM FESTIVAL?
We love to work alongside companies or brands who share the same ethos as us. If you're interested in reaching a UK-wide audience, who are united by their love of adventure, the outdoors, untold stories and enthusiasm for encouraging positive change, then we'd love to talk to you about potential partnership opportunities. Please email us to find out more.
CAN THE FILM I CREATED BE SHOWN ON THE TOUR?
Yes, potentially. The Frontier Sapiens Film Festival showcases films from across the globe and films are submitted annually ahead of our Festival each summer. To find out more, head over to our 'submit your film' page.
