WHAT ARE THE FILMS ABOUT?
Frontier Sapiens Film Festival is a celebration of human spirit and the untold stories of inspirational people from all walks of life. Films on show can be broad in nature, but will always be nonfiction stories featuring a human story element. Expect to see a diverse range of films about epic adventures, as well as important cultural, environmental and social issues from around the globe. Visit our 'films' page for further information.
WHAT HAPPENS AT A FRONTIER SAPIENS FILM FESTIVAL EVENT?
Expect to see between 4 to 8 films over the course of the evening, each introduced by our own in-house presenter. At the majority of our venues, the screenings are split in to two halves, allowing attendees to have a quick break and grab a drink in between films.
ARE THE SCREENINGS INDOORS OR OUTDOORS?
All of the summer Frontier Sapiens Film Festival events are outdoors, enabling you to watch a series of inspirational films under the stars. We also now host a range of indoor autumn screenings for the public, as well as additional indoor screenings in the spring; visiting schools, colleges and clubs in a bid to inspire the next generation.
WHAT HAPPENS IN CASE OF BAD WEATHER?
All of our outdoor events will go ahead in the event of rain; so please check the weather forecast beforehand and dress accordingly! On very rare occasions, we may be forced to postpone or cancel an event due to dangerous weather conditions. In this instance, your tickets will be automatically transferred to the new date. However, if you are unable to attend the new date, you will be able to receive a 100% refund if you email us within 7 days of the new date being announced.
CAN I CANCEL MY TICKETS IF I CHANGE MY MIND?
The cancellation policy varies depending on the type of event being hosted. Please check the individual event ticket page for the specific cancellation / refund policy.
CAN I BRING MY OWN FOOD AND DRINK TO THE EVENT?
This varies across our venues, so please visit the individual ticket page for further information.
IS THERE FOOD AND DRINK AVAILABLE AT THE EVENTS?
At all of our outdoor summer events, we partner with a range of local food and drink vendors to make sure there's always options available for you on site. Please check the individual ticket pages for further information.
CAN I BRING MY DOG?
As much as we LOVE dogs, unfortunately only service dogs are allowed at the screenings.
CAN I SMOKE?
Smoking (and the use of e-cigarettes and vapes) is not allowed at any of our events. Some of our venues may have designated areas where smoking is allowed, but please visit the individual ticket page for details.
HOW DO I BUY TICKETS?

WILL THE FRONTIER SAPIENS FILM FESTIVAL BE COMING TO MY HOME TOWN?
We're doing our very best to bring the Frontier Sapiens Film Festival to a range of exciting outdoor (and indoor!) venues around the UK, but please bear with us, it's still very early days for us, so we know we may have missed a few! Please visit our 'dates and tickets' page for a full list of event locations. If you have an epic idea of where we could host a screening (either this year or next!), please send us an email, we'd love to hear about it!
ARE THERE ANY OPPORTUNITIES TO GET INVOLVED WITH THE FESTIVAL?
