Frontier Sapiens Film Festival Partnerships

Each year, we as a festival partner with a variety of fantastic partners local to each of our event venues. In the past, we have partnered with a range of partners, including climbing walls, local shops and adventure providers.

But we're often asked WHY?

For us, partnering with local providers is an opportunity to 'reach into' the local community. Sure, partnerships can bring additional resources and local marketing opportunities (for both ourselves and the partner), but it's also about more than that. They're about jumping into the adventure communities surrounding each of our venues and connecting with groups of likeminded people.

The perfect example of this, is our ongoing partnership with Brighton based Pink Nicky. As Nicky explains in her latest blog, 'national platforms need local energy to thrive' and she is exactly right - our tour events simply wouldn't be the same without our brilliant local partners, and in return, our aim is to always give back to our local partners in a unique and fresh way.

Nicky is uniquely placed in the Brighton adventure scene...a freelance project manager specialising in the adventure sector, freelance blogger, Surfers Against Sewage Brighton Rep, wild swimmer, and the writer behind the Pink Nicky blog, she brings the local community together - and we're delighted to be working with her again for our 2025 Brighton event.

From day one, it's always been important for us to develop mutually beneficial, longstanding, positive relationships when working with both our venues and partners. Even though we're a national tour - we feel a real connection to each of our tour venues and are passionate about creating unique community events which our audiences love to return to year on year.

With that in mind, if you're a local wall / shop / adventure group etc who are interested in partnering OR if you're one of our audience members who have a suggestion about a unique partnership opportunity, then please do email us at team@frontiersapiens.com.

We're always open to hearing about new opportunities and would love to discuss ways in which we can work together when it comes to encouraging adventure in your local community.
